Who's Visiting Our Site?
We keep an eye on the web traffic that visits our site. You can find our monthly reports here, just in case you're interested in seeing the type of information web service providers can glean from your web browser requests. (You'll need to provide a username of 'guest' and a password of 'guest' -- keeps the web search engines away!)

(Here's something comical -- someone who worked at the old Treadwells stand is the biggest visitor! Look at the entries for c-65-30-123-45.hsd1.ma.comcast.net in the Host report! This same person continually sends me childish messages telling me that we'll never make it in North Andover. Keep 'em coming, it gives us something to laugh at!)

Talk About Ice Cream! When I started this business, I had to do a lot of research on what it takes to run an ice cream store. My background is in computers, specifically, internet web sites, so it was obvious to me that there should be a web forum for the exchange of ideas between folks in the ice cream industry.

After closing our stand after our first season, when I actually had some free minutes in my day, I decided to set one up. Originally, I thought that I would run something on my own web site, but Yahoo already has a very nice setup for running forums, so I just created a forum there. If you're interested, the name of the group is icecreamfolks. I hope you'll visit it and join the group at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/icecreamfolks

After over four years of existence, this group now has over 400 participants, and it is a great resource for those looking for information on running an ice cream business. It's free to join, and very easy to participate.
